Frequently Asked Questions

Can students still use EconLearn for free?

Yes. Any student can sign up individually and access all 24 modules, 350+ practice questions, flashcards, and interactive graphs at no cost. The paid plans are for teachers and schools who want classroom management, assignments, lockdown exams, and analytics.

How do teachers get started?

Teachers request a pilot through our pilot program form. We review requests and approve qualified teachers within one business day. Once approved, you get full access to the teacher dashboard, classroom management, exam mode, and reporting.

Can I choose any classroom size?

Yes. Classroom plans use exact per-student billing, so enter the number of students you need and checkout will price that amount.

How does billing work?

Classroom plans are $15/student/year, billed by credit card — you can subscribe directly from this page. School plans ($10/student/year) can be paid by card or purchase order; email hello@econlearn.org and we'll set it up.

What is the Founding School Partner Discount?

Our first 10 institutional partners receive a 10% discount on their first-year licensing fee. Mira Costa High School is among our founding partners. If your school adopts EconLearn for the 2026–2027 school year, contact hello@econlearn.org to confirm eligibility.

Can I switch plans?

Yes. You can upgrade at any time. If you upgrade mid-semester, you only pay the difference. Downgrading takes effect at the start of the next billing period.

Is student data private?

We do not sell student data and we do not show ads. Student information is only visible to the student and their teacher. If your school wants a data agreement before rollout, email hello@econlearn.org.

Do you support purchase orders?

For School plans, yes — we can invoice or accept a PO; email hello@econlearn.org. Classroom plans are credit-card only and subscribe instantly.

What if I need more than 500 students?

Email hello@econlearn.org. Larger rollouts use custom pricing and a direct onboarding conversation.
