Using EconLearn

EconLearn is an educational platform for AP Economics students. By using the site, you agree to these terms. Studying on EconLearn is free for students. Most of the site is open without an account, though most module write-ups show the first section and then ask you to create a free account. Creating an account gives you progress tracking, quiz history, and achievements.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. One account per person. Do not share your login with others or create multiple accounts. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Content & Intellectual Property

All content on EconLearn, including text, graphics, interactive graphs, quiz questions, and flashcards, is owned by EconLearn and protected by copyright. You may use the content for personal study. You may not copy, redistribute, or sell any content without written permission.

Intellectual Property

All interactive graphs, educational content, question banks, and software available on EconLearn are the intellectual property of EconLearn. Users may not reproduce, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the interactive graph components or any other proprietary elements of the platform.

Schools and teachers who subscribe to EconLearn receive a license to use the platform for educational purposes within their institution. This license does not transfer intellectual property ownership of any kind. All rights, title, and interest in the platform and its content remain with EconLearn.

Paid Plans

Student study features are free. Teacher, school, and district classroom plans are paid: Classroom is $15 per student per year and School is $10 per student per year at 100 or more students, as shown on the pricing page. Classroom plans bought by card are annual subscriptions, charged for the number of students you enter at checkout. Self-serve checkout covers up to 99 students; at 100 or more students the School rate applies and is arranged by email. School and district plans are billed annually by invoice or purchase order and are governed by the quote, order, or purchase order agreed with your school or district, which controls if it conflicts with these terms.

Renewal, Cancellation, and Refunds

A Classroom subscription bought by card renews automatically once a year until it is canceled. You manage it in the Stripe billing portal, which opens from the subscribe button on the pricing page once you are signed in with an active plan. From there you can change your seat count, update your card, or cancel.

Canceling stops future renewals. Your classroom features keep working until the term you have already paid for ends, after which the account returns to the free student features and your data stays in place. If a renewal payment fails we do not cut a class off at once: access continues while Stripe retries the card, and ends only if the subscription itself ends.

Canceling does not by itself refund the current year. If you think you were charged in error, email hello@econlearn.org and we will look at it with you.

Student Accounts and Minors

EconLearn is built for high school students. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A school or teacher who uses EconLearn with students under 13 is responsible for obtaining parental consent as required by COPPA, and for confirming it is permitted to invite its students to the platform. If you are under 18, use EconLearn with the permission of a parent, guardian, or your school. Our privacy policy lists what we collect and every service that processes it.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or programmatically access the site beyond normal browsing
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Use the platform for any commercial purpose without permission
• Interfere with the operation of the site or its infrastructure

Accuracy

We strive to provide accurate, up-to-date AP Economics content. EconLearn is a supplementary study tool and should not be your only resource. We do not guarantee specific exam scores or outcomes. Content may contain errors; if you spot one, please let us know.

Availability

EconLearn is provided “as is,” with no uptime or service-level commitment unless one is written into a school or district order. We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify or discontinue features at any time. We are not liable for any loss of data or study progress due to service interruptions.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EconLearn and its creators are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform.

Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted. Continued use of EconLearn after changes constitutes acceptance. Check this page periodically for updates.
